此作品屬集體工藝創作，每件作品由兩至三位學生合力完成。

在創作的過程中，學生先建構有關畢加索立體派的美術知識，再依據立體派的特有風格，將物件簡化為幾何圖案，或將物件的形狀扭曲，達至超現實效果。學生以油粉彩於木板上進行集體創作，並使用木板拼貼方法營造不同的質感效果，形成不同的視覺觀感。

Cubist Portrait

This is the students’ first attempt to create a collaborative artwork in groups of 2 to 3. They tried to apply their understanding of cubism to this artwork with Picasso as an inspiration. When creating these cubist pieces, students simplified objects into geometric components. They distorted the figures and forms, simultaneously depicting different points of view. They also created a collage of wood pieces to create texture for this artwork. They gained hands on experiences with mixed media arts and new craft skills.
